    the married life- christmas version

    came across this recently, this happened the 1st week of december


    Last week I bought my first Gibson, After 30 years of playing and always wanting this guitar you can imagine how excited I was to finally get it.

    But, here is my dilemma- My wife wrapped it and is making me wait until Christmas.

    I brought it home, showed her, took the abuse for buying for myself while I was supposed to be Christmas shopping and then watched her take it into a room and wrap it.

    Let this sink in- My dream guitar is feet away, wrapped and I cannot play it. 30 years of waiting...

          After waiting 30 years, what's another 3 weeks? Besides, that's gonna be one guy who will be up even before his kids are to unwrap presents. Talk about feeling like a kid again.

              it's bizarre to me to see a grown adult be treated like a kid and made to feel like a kid by the person he's supposed to be in a committed loving relationship with.

              withholding and punishing? i don't believe loving adults should treat each other that way.

                                  It sounds like a great idea to increase the thrill of waiting for Christmas, especially if kids are involved.
                                  Finding the perfect gift for an adult is really difficult, if there is something we want we can just buy it.
