Flat Caps - Your Opinion?
 

I keep meeting people wearing flat caps. Boys (of like 7), men of like 30 and old Grandpas.

What's your opinion?

I always thought a trilby looked cooler but perhaps I should join in.

i dig em, but yeah trilby is schnazzy, i have more trilby's. i wear the newsboy cap instead of baseball caps and the trilby when i want a more dressy vibe.

A fedora is sexier :)

flat caps = northern monkeys

well, i'm in so cal, so technically, i'm a southern monkey when i wear my newsboy cap.

Or northern monkey because you are from Northern hemisphere. Or because you are from North America. :winkwink:

I was once thrown off a shoot as my flat cap was brown and not tweed, got the tie right though

Personally I wear a fedora. Looks better when I run into the phone booth to get my cape out.


For you young guys, that was what Superman always did on his TV show.

I was allowed on a shoot once because I had a green barbour and green boots, 900 acre estate in norfolk shooting pheasants

This was up on a 20,000 acre estate in Scotland, The game keeper was very old school, very strict rules, tie, clean boots and of course the right sort of tweed. I wasn't invited back :(

i've never been kicked off a shoot for the style of hat i'm wearing. what kind of porn are y'all shooting?

I like to rock a tophat and monicle from time to time. Makes me look rich and helps let the employees know thier place :2 cents:

only guys who naturally look like Irish thugs should wear flat caps. No one else really pulls it off. I lack the pugilists nose...

They all knew I shoot bondage, they were all cool with that.

Only problem was my cap wasn't tweed
