ccbill's rating

I'm looking for something like CCBill's rating at something like moodys or Standard and poors.

I've just found that for the moment:

This one is interesting too:

I'm curious to know the truth about these customers.

(but i agree with them: something ccbill's answer can be pretty useless: bla bla bla "no problem")

As easy as it is to charge back, I can't see where these people have a problem. If CC Bill is so bad, how come another processing company hasn't stepped up? Epoch looked promising, but is basically a decade behind now. No one is anywhere near cutting edge these days. To have a loser, one must have a winner. Who's the winner?

hmm yes, but basically you need to understand what means "ccbill" on your credit card statement...
Of course, WE know what it means, but perhaps not the average joe...

Also the point of this thread was to determine how trustworthy can be CCBill for the bank of a customer.

IDK how much faith I would put in that place. I saw some $15,000 claim with no info.. There was several $3,000 claims that were charged over years. Come on how is ccbill scamming these people if they don't look at their bank statements in 2+ years. Also some said ccbill was rude and didn't want to help? haha ccbill will refund anyone that calls them.

I'm pretty sure CC Bill is a little on the conservative side. Playing with the trust issue in high risk CC transactions can and will backfire pretty quickly and when you look at the longevity of CC Bill, they've enjoyed a pretty good rep. They scrub harder than most other processors which suggests a certain prudence. One thing they have and have always had is a square reputation so I'm going to go with completely trustworthy myself. After all, it's a lot easier to do good business than it is bad business. My opinion anyway.

I'm wondering if some of these complaints are from spouses who are unaware that the other spouse purchased a porn membership. :winkwink:

And this could be a problem for us... :2 cents:

With phishing scams and big companies such as Sony and Adobe getting hacked, I wouldn't be suprised if an equal proportion is from compromised card numbers nowadays.

I've had 2 cards compromised from using them in restaurants overseas (I never use my primary card over the counter, so it's easy to figure out...) - one resulted in a transaction of $3,000 for drag racing parts, another for $1,500 of human hair extensions :1orglaugh. Reported to the bank, new card issued, money refunded. No problems apart from the inconvenience of waiting for a new card.

I don't know why people even bother writing on sites like "Scambook" when it's likely their own fault for not being vigilant with their CC numbers.
