I like Bush but....

It's time he put his cards on the table. If he has proof of the weapons of mass destruction it's time to show it.

Even if it means compromising intelligence sources within Iraq? Even if it means possibly putting our forces at greater risk?

You must be quite important to be demanding *proof*.

As far as I know, yes.

We sent troops and planes into Afganistan.
Did the same during Kosovo, and kept peacekeeping forces there for long afterwards.
Same with the Gulf war.

It's no surprise that we would ultimately do the same in this case.

The only weapon of mass destruction I see resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C.:321GFY Bush is hell bent on going to war, regardless of any Iraqi concessions or compromises. Not that we should ever trust that scumbag Saddam, but let the UN do their job first.

Oh come on, the UN has been at this for over a decade. If we're going to do this (and I don't think we should), now's the time. We've pussy-footed around it for too long already.

I think buy the time the UN decides we should take action it will be to late. It is not like Iraq hasn't had time to comply to the terms already. They have been in violation for years. Saddam is very good at playing the game of getting public sympathy. He will lie and say anything to not loose power. I am sure when Iraq does finally do something horrific, everyone will look to the US (again) to make it better, and restore order. :2 cents:
