Still quite amazing that Russia is behind countries like Nigeria and Bangladesh in terms of population size, considering how big Russia is...

Eventually the world is going to run out of resources when population exceeds supply in countries that aren't just third world.

And Canada isn't even on the list.

they've been saying this exact same thing throughout history, yet populations continue to grow. Roman empire, French empire, both world wars all fought in fear of things like this despite it not being true.

there is no doubt that there is a maximum sustainable capacity, but we are still far from reaching it..

But if you study population issues, one fact remains consistent - the population remains at a level that can sustain itself. If you look at the line graph on that page, you'll see the population remained mostly level through out history until the 1800s, which is when the industrial revolution took place - we were able to create more food AND move it around a lot more.

I'm just wondering where the fuck we are going to fit all of these people. If look at movies about the future, they all seem to have one thing in common - huge cities that sky rocket up.

This is another fabricated crisis by the "sky is falling" crowd.

Some current research and projections have world population leveling off and then declining before the end of the century.

Unfortunately white race is declining all over the world, while browns, blacks, arabs are quickly growing.

where are they pulling their info from to be able to update in real time? My local hospital can't even sort out a fucking appointment, how are they getting the relevant infos to this site?

I don't think we are that far off.

However, if projections are accurate, then at least the population growth in general is slowing down, and that's a good thing.

Maybe taking predicted numbers and dividing them by seconds. For illustration purposes. Of course there is no way to know how many people died in real time :)

Not really.

Overall world population will be fairly close i suppose, but the constant moving of the figures impossible to calculate...

We need another big war ...

The only war that could even put a dent in that number would be nuclear and even then it would have to be on a massive scale. :thumbsup
