How do you deal with a stray pet that won't go away?

I've come across a stray pet that for some reason has taken up quite the love affection for me. I never really paid him any attention, in fact I never really talked to him much, but for some reason he has started to hump my leg. I tried to pet him and fed him some scraps, but now he just pisses everywhere and follows me around.

He has a tag with the name dyna mo, but no address to send him home. He is a bit flea bitten and mangy, but he is free to a good home if anyone wants him. I think he just wants some love an attention, but I already have a cat and don't need another pet.

I had a purebred german shepard sit outside my gate for 3 days out of the blue. I fed her a few times but I didn't want a dog so I called the county, and they sent someone to remove her.

I giggled.

If you feed him make sure it's only twice a day.

Not sure where you live, but you can call the local humane society or even the police. If he is younger, he may have a microchip or ID tattoo on his inner leg. They can scan the microchip or enter in the ID to find the owner.

Someone is probably missing their pet...

Yeah, I recently found myself in the same situation with a critter that sounds quite similar to your stray. Definately attention starved. Keeps spraying around the outside of my house marking "his" territory.

A stray pet that doesn't go away... hm... that's a contradiction of terms...

A stray pet that doesn't go away is a regular pet... right?...

crockett, was your stray especially moody recently ... you know ... like it was her time of the month? I ask this because mine was around the same time the moon was full this last week.

Yes, he just couldn't help himself I guess, he kept shitting everywhere, so I had to close the door on the poor little guy and started ignoring him.
