I don't understand people and animals at all. One crazy bender of a weekend, with great friends, would trump getting this dog anytime.

Yeah...he is. He has been trained and is amazingly obedient. He immediately let my other dog know who is the alpha...but did not hurt him. They then started warming up to one another...and before I mad the final decision they were getting along together just fine. He is just shy of being a year old.

Well...I have already named him...Defender. I bought him primarily to defend my other dog...while we are in the wild. He will supposedly go into attack mode when confronted by any wild animal...or when ordered by me to do so.

i was waiting to release that as the best name!

I always judge a pet's name by what I want to be heard calling loudly at night in my back yard.
