Anybody else having issues at Amerinoc now? Dbase retaled?

Four different installations of our script stopped working about two hours ago, while we did nothing (just turned morning).

Since it is four different installs altogether i am sure it is server related, maybe Zend, or MySQL.

We get installation startups / error reports / product display taking turns, so it is not a solid error to go by.

Product prices have changed by 50% or so as well, without us changing a thing. It is all over our stores, including inactive and demo stores.

Strange stuff, annoying with nothing to go by.

We're on support now, just checking to see if anybody else noticed changes? We need a grip on something....

Markul 12-17-2013 03:53 AM

Everything is good one the one dedicated box I still have with them.

Naughty 12-17-2013 03:55 AM

Thanks.
Pretty crappy, we're losing money and any visitor can initiate an installation procedure due to us not being able to enter admin and turn maintenance mode on. Highest traffic stores have been put to a blank page just to prevent that from happening;-(.

Damn. Usually their support replies within minutes though, hope you get it resolved fast!

ps. Title should be Related, not Retaled

I'm not naming names but this is obviously one of those things you want solved FAST, but i just got an email from one of the steady workers there asking for one of the websites, whereas i emailed him a detailed overview of sites and install paths 40 minutes before:/

Naughty 12-17-2013 03:59 AM

6k, ty;-)

Markul 12-17-2013 04:02 AM

Congrats on 6K.

40 minutes is not very impressive, at least not compared to what I've experienced - but on the other hand, they could have other big issues and it's in the middle of the night for them now.

Naughty 12-17-2013 04:11 AM

Thing is, we almost never need support, but when we do we need it from experienced people and during these hours. This is our prime time, daytime, shoppers' time.

Naughty 12-17-2013 04:16 AM

When 4 different installations, on four different dbases all stop working at the same time, it should ring a bell to serverguys, no?

Its going on and off every other second, looks to me like the dbase is coming and going. No dbase, script thinks no installation.

klinton 12-17-2013 04:42 AM

i am on reseller with them. no problems now

but 2 weeks ago or sth had similar sql problem - my blogs were down...it was resolved by them in 1 hour or sth, after my ticket

Naughty 12-17-2013 04:58 AM

2 replies in 3 hours, no help at all.
Time to cancel one of our plans :/

jódete 12-17-2013 05:14 AM

nothing db, or it could be. my sites are loading slow as hell. this has been goin on for the past 2 weeks. dont know whats up with Amerinoc. they used to be on the top of their game. will start looking for a new box over at mojo if this shit keeps up.

Naughty 12-17-2013 05:20 AM

We just canceled one plan we have because there's webmasters pushing goods for that shortly. I do not want to think about hundreds of serious affiliates losing their traffic over unresponsive support issues.

Not to say they cannot solve issues, just that our level of issues surpass the nightshift speed and knowledge.

3xmedia 12-17-2013 05:29 AM

get a real host :2 cents:

i sent amerinoc complaints during their reg biz hours an my shit is simple to fix. my sites continue to lag, timeout here and there. surfer wont come back with constant timeouts. what sucks is my servers are paid deep into 2014.

I just moved away from them after over 10 years. Fuck them. The support issue as i understand is them outsourcing tech support to a 3rd party. They went from being one of the best hosts in the industry to one of the worst in my opinion.

Fucking assholes there started costing me a lot of money.

Thanks for the heads up, they might follow Webair then.

Our issue is still unsolved, we lost hundreds of Euros today already and our shopping hours are about over for the day.

Sat here 8 hours pressing refresh and read all i could, giving support tips and whatnot.

Asked for their support number but i did not get it.

Chris? Matt? WTF?!?

SlammedMedia 12-17-2013 08:38 AM

I had a database completely vanish a couple weeks ago.

Naughty 12-17-2013 09:18 AM

Still no change. At all.

sandman! 12-17-2013 12:31 PM

is this a dedicated server or a shared hosting account ?

finding the problem on a server with 1 customer is alot easier then on a server with 100 customers.

Dedicated, only a few visitors a day, buying visitors.

Today, over 32 hours later, still unchanged situation.
Its not working at all, it turned into the blamegame where we are telling each other how experienced we are.

Yet, again, all 4 installations stopped working at the same time. Installers are shown to each visitor, installing a whole new version/package does no longer work either whereas we installed everything flawlessly last week.

It would have been great if a solution was given, or at least a confirmation of it being strange every install of a script stops working at the exact same time. They say it is our old script (yet the latest version does no longer work either, nor can it be installed again on a fresh domain).

We're done, we lost a lot of money by now and a few years of my life for stressing out.

Clients are calling and members emailing for not being able to access their salespages.

Too bad, i thought they were on top of their game still. I'm disappointed.
