- Newsgroups are going to destroy the industry
- Xpics and their ilk are going to destroy the industry
- AVS sites are going to destroy the industry
- TGP/TGP2's are going to destroy the industry
- MGP's are going to destroy the industry
- Skimming/Circle Jerks are going to destroy the industry
- Cross-Sales are going to destroy the industry
- Hidden Cross Sales are going to destroy the industry
- Pre-Checked Cross Sales are going to destroy the industry
- One click upsells are going to destroy the industry
- Porn forums are going to destroy the industry
- Tubes are going to destroy the industry
- .XXX ICM are going to destroy the industry
- File lockers are going to destroy the industry

Then of course, you have all the billers and ewallets who closed their doors and screwed people over (iBill, epass, etc).

I'm sure I have missed some of the other issues.

It was fun, now it's not.

money fell into my lap because it was easy....

.... then i realized there was more money to be made with everyone whining and complaining.

Nothing better for a go-getter than a growing and pervasive myth that things have never been worse and are getting worse by the day.

For years everyone complained that too much free porn would eventually hurt the industry and then it did.

The Winner.

If you started 15 years ago in Adult the last ten years have been a slow, steady decline.

If, however, you started about 7 years ago in Adult, like me, then it's been a slow, steady CLIMB to a happier life.

Depends on your perspective and history. I know one thing tho, regardless of now or then: never, ever stop.

can we go back til 1996? if so then there used to be this site called something like asphalt design where these chicks had nude photos but you had to pay to see them. but they let you see their non-nude stuff free. imagine that. I culd pay to see some chicks ass. I don't think they're around anymore and they definitely wouldn't give out any personal info about where they live or anything. glad to see in this day and age, chicks give out their personal info so u can go fuck them.:thumbsup
