PHP heads, I need some help
 

Im having trouble getting a script to create a directory with permissions 0777 that I can ftp to and access. The script creates the directory but it gets created as 0770, and when I try to access the damn things I get permission denied error.

I heard of others having similair problems and was wondering if any of you may know what causes it?

BTW I have safemode disabled for the site.

Are you running a *nix or Windows?

Might be able to create the directory and run a system function using chmod on it...
