They most certainly are NOT the same shade of gray ...

Do this : Set it to full screen and stare at the letters that appear in the center. Don't look away and try not to blink.

When it is finished, look away at anything such as your desk or bookshelf or whatever - and it will appear to be bending. It's a pretty cool trick. It lasts for about 10 seconds or so.
