This place is being over turned by a bunch of unimportant people who don't make any money. I remember coming her a couple years ago and learning lots about the industry and making new friends who had similar interests but now that just doesn't happen. Without any ranking system it makes new users and some old ones completely vulnerable to piece of shit trolls who have too much time on their hands or just are looking to scam their next buck on a newb.

I plan to add to this list anytime I feel the need to call out GFY members that are worthless. Feel free to post and support other claims of shitty members here too.

First on my list would be whOaKemosabe with over 1200 posts in a little over 2 months since signing up this fucker posts the dumbest bullshit and brings nothing of value to the board.

What do you bring of value? opening up programs then shutting them down 2 days later not giving people refunds and ripping them off (beaner) never got his tweets?

I got a refund after my post. For the life of me can't figure out why he didn't just send the tweets.

I have no dog in this fight... I did want those tweets though rather then the refund. Especially after reading his for sale thread and main source of traffic was his twitter account.

Maybe somebody else has a high following twitter account that can send off some tweets?

I still get my questions answered - and this is the only place where little guys can talk to and get opinions and answers from big guys. Only when I ask off topic questions do I get silly answers. You can read the sanitized version on AVN or some other board, but you come here to get the real story. As an example, Fabian regularly logged through his whole thing while he was arguably one of the biggest names in the business. And Robbie gave him shit every day, and everyone gave Robbie shit, but it turns out Robbie was at least partially correct. I could name others. Even the mainstream media comes here for the real story. Yeah, most of us are nothings in the biz, but I wouldn't assume that we don't have some resources up our sleeves.

I still get a lot of work from here :winkwink:

Things will get better

If this board only ever spoke about the industry, it would move 10x slower than it currently does. Even back in the day on here, there was always plenty of the batshit threads and posts, it's just that nowadays people tend to forget about that.

Sure the constant fake nicks etc are a pain in the ass, but in general, if the board didn't have the madness, people would moan that it isn't fun anymore.

A nice mix of industry topics along with the madness is healthy. Remember the industry is much different these days, so could you imagine coming on here every day just to read about tubes and bitcoins ? It would get tedious very quickly.

I still enjoy logging in each day and seeing what's happening. If there's a bullshit thread i have no interest in, i simply don't open it...

to all the pessimists there is money to be made seriously like a lot of things. my girlfriend keeps telling me this is serious business i believe her no wimps if you put work in and do smart things with the money you have you will see the fruit. i bought my girl a skoda but a really really old baby blue one there is another orange one around here somewhere, she just loves it, and loves me, for it. :thumbsup
