wordpress - releasing server resources and speeding up website
what cache plugin for wordpress would you recommend ?
thx |
None. Use a WP dedicated host like wpengine.com that doesn't require such a thing to perform well. :2 cents:

What about them? You asked what we would recommend. :winkwink: |
web server - nginx
php - php5-fpm caching - compile nginx with fastcgi_cache wordpress plugin - nginx helper This is the route we're migrating to. It's a slow going migration since I have so much other shit to do, but it's pretty damn nice... edit: and to be honest.. once I'm done with all the site dev and server migration that I have backlogged, I'm going to seriously consider switching all of our shit over to another platform.. most probably concrete5.... wordpress is becoming the net joomla with all the bloat and shit they keep changing that doesn't need to be changed. |
http://wordpress.org/plugins/db-cache-reloaded-fix/
just enable it and set timeout to some bigger number (30 or 60min) it's easy to use and gives great results... |
WP-Super-Cache
+ BJ Lazy Load + Autoptimize plugin + (optional) CloudFlare with LOW or OFF security setting + disabling resource hungry plugins (use P3-Profiler to find them) + use fast and light WP themes :2 cents: |
