As a program do we really need RSS FEEDS? Please advice

The RSS feeds for blog posts are not actual IMHO (Google doesn't love text blogs).

On the other hand, mp4 video and image gallery XML/RSS feeds are very useful.

Google likes very much handwritten, authoritative blogs that present unique, new information. Google hates spinning text, that is true.

Start a tube if you want to run mp4/xml. IMO.

Last week our RSS feeds were our #8 requested (hits) Promo Tool -- our affiliates seem to like them. They are both text and images. I would encourage affiliates to edit them a bit for SEO reasons -- unique content reasons specifically.

I can see where one might argue the effectiveness of the RSS feeds because of content concerns but automated dynamically created sites are not so favored by Google, in particular, these days. So manual, or very clever programmatic, modifications are necessary ...

That's a myth. Google doesn't care about your text content at all (neither "unique" or spun). The most important factor today is user activity. Do you really thing that surfers would read your hand written texts? C'mon :) They are coming to your site for some different content. They need images and videos. Only quality media content can hold them at your site for a rather long time and make them open more than a single page.

Any text blog has a very low UA factors (high bounce rate, small on site lime etc). This is why these get slapped by Panda. Do any search request in Google and you'll see only tubes and popular image sites (pinboards etc) in the SEPR's. There are no text blogs anymore because no one is interested in them and Google knows it.

LOL, properly automated sites with tons of relevant media content (videos / images) are far more popular and have much better SE positions than any "unique" hand-written blog.

All the most popular resources are automated one. Including Google (yes, it's an automated site too) :pimp

Textual blogs are only good these days for linking. As for making money on them, most of it will come from popups and most of the surfers will come from Google images. So it is important to candy-fy your images so they are the best looking in the results. That image traffic won't buy a damn thing from your blog posts. Instead they will buy whatever is in your popup or possibly the top cam/dating solution.
