Any "adult friendly" insurance agents here?

We need to insure our new office space, but we don't want to disclose the nature of our business to a local who might not be so understanding. Any suggestions?

Hi Steve,

is it just office space, or is there photo shoots going on??

if there is photoshoots I would of course recommend a little more liability insurance then if there wasn't.

thanks

todd

Steve,

if it is just office space with employees and workstations, etc. I would just tell the insurance company that.. What do you do, We run internet companies, etc, etc.

If they ask if you work with adult related material, then you should tell the truth, but if not, you work on the net, ecommerce.

Finding an insurance company to insure internet businesses in general is a lot harder then you think. When we were looking for insurance companies, State Farm would not insure us. Apparently, they do not insure any computer based companies especially Internet companies. Also, my agent's other contacts wouldn't help us either. Please, lmk what you come up with, if you don't mind

Now that you brought it up. Anyone recommend a general liability company to insure against talent claims in photoshoots? I really don't care if i tell them or not about our business. The insurance company needs to insure photoshoots in multiple states. Also, need general liability as well.

I'm not sure what the situation is in the US but in AU if you do not disclose the full nature of your business activities then it's grounds for a claim rejection.

On the other hand if you list your activities as Internet company, modelling agency and photography then that *may* be enough to cover yourself.

Can you imagine the results of putting in a claim for loss of earnings for a model who was injured when a mains powered sexual stimulation device was unable to be switched off ?

fuckingmachines.com must have some scary premiums

I believe TDavid @ scriptschool.com owns an insurance agency, I'm not sure what his specialty is but he might have some leads.
