He could buy some 'green' or some used tires, or maybe get the money he needs to get his paper route started.

Did he post a video of himself? Odds are not the same... What are the chances somebody used to hire someone to do video pretending to be someone else? And on a regular basis?
And back in the days (2007 or so when he used to post "video responses" to threads) trolling like that was not that popular.
He used to post video response to NT threads and it was pretty clear that it was him and not some hired actor :)
