But ask yourself - how much of your valuable time are you spending shopping around and comparing every detail and aspect?

If someone's doing a better version cheaper...ask yourself - "Where are they cutting corners to do it cheaper?" It's not always readily apparent. On the surface it may seem like you're getting a better deal.

In terms of a tattoo - you may find a talented artist who does great work. Are they using the same quality ink? Same hygiene practices? Customer service level?

I'm always willing to pay a little more for similiar quality if the consistency is there. It's also a notion of customer loyalty to someone who's demonstrated a history of good quality and service over the years.

Cheaper is not always the synonym of bad work...

For us it means we have a better workflow as we learned along the years.

Yup! I am getting used to tell big video companies to FUCK OFF when they insult me with rates. Then they hire crap shooters and wonder why there sales are plummeting. If quality content didn't sell well then X-Art and Met-art would be out of business :1orglaugh

quality work costs some money, has been always like that. And if you get a good product cheap, then the employees get paid worse.....it's always somewhere, where the money is saved.....:(

Some of the replies in this thread are… ironic.

there are some very good outsourcing companies in India and Phillipinnes that I dealt with and the quality was very good despite the cheap prices. it is all about research and who you deal with.

I think the guy got KO'ed after this. LOL.
