A Story to Make You Believe in Spirits
And I am not talking about the alcoholic ones :winkwink:
Do you believe is psychics? Spirits? I didn't until today, now I am having second thoughts. On Saturday my Dad lost his dog, it's one of those little terrier types. Anyway, they were down the park and it ran off, they lost site of it but figured it must have run down a rabbit hole. They searched for the bloody thing all day Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and had virtually given up hope of finding it but still believed it was down a rabbit hole and they thought they knew the general area where it was lost. My dad decided to ask a friend if he could use his camera equipment to try and locate the dog. It's one of those type of cameras that you can push down pipes and view a live feed on a screen. They tried pushing it down a few holes but couldn't locate anything. Apparently the ground was very sandy and it's likely that when the dog went into a hole it would have collapsed behind him, trapping him. Also, despite them pretty sure of the general area there were a lot of warrens and they couldn't be sure which one he was down. Then, my dads friend said he would contact his spirit guide. I posted here before about this guy, he's into all this meditation, crystals, psychic healing etc. Anyway, apparently he spoke to his spirit guide and me moved to a certain area. He told my dad that this was where his last heartbeat was. My dads friend told my dad he thought he was dead. He then said I am just going to speak to my guide again... took a step to the side and dropped to the ground and frantically started digging. He dug for almost 3 feet and stopped. your dog is there he said... My dad leant down on the ground and reached into the hole. His friend had stopped digging about 3 inches above the rabbit hole. My dad bug through the remaining earth and reached into the hole that appeared and felt the dogs whiskers. He pulled the dog out who was perfectly fine despite being trapped for 4 days. Crazy shit. |
pass it over here man...that sounds like some good shit ;)

crazy shit man.

I believe in spirits... Vodka mostly...
And yes, I did read the first line of your OP... :winkwink: |
Quick, get him in touch with James Randi. He'll give him a million dollars if he can prove this spirit guide exists.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Mil...rmal_Challenge (Randi has had this offer for around 40 years, thousands have tried and no one has taken it yet. Can't think why, unless of course, it's all a load of shit?) |
I don't know anything about that test but I can't explain how he found that dog.

wicked story :thumbsup

cool story though. |
sweet story, got a kick out of it

could it be he was the one who found and buried the dog?
i've heard some low shit from types like that, their profession is taking advantage of peoples beliefs, so who's to say they wouldn't stoop to that? |

No, he lives 300 miles away. He had never been to the area where the dog got lost.
|
Sorry but there's no such thing as spirits, psychic energy, power crystals, etc. It's all bullshit. There is more to this story. Either it was pure luck that he knew where the dog would be found or he knew it was there before hand, or he saw something like fur or foot prints would led him to the dog. Don't substitute psychic bullshit for rational thinking.

or just kick him really really hard in the nuts so that your foot hurts for like a week :1orglaugh |

If you take it for granted that our world is a virtual reality, you can come up with rational explanations for all sorts of paranormal phenomena. |

Was a bit worried when i went to read this and saw it was to do with a dog as i just can not read about anything bad happening to animals, what a great outcome though.Glad your dad got his dog back i would have been frantic if it was any of my lot!I do believe there is something out there but no matter what we will never ever know for sure. However on this occasion someone was looking out for your dad and the pooch! The poor dog must have been terrified.

I definitely think something exists, maybe not 100% clear and 99% are probably scammers.
Personally I had an instance where I wen't to my uncle/aunts house with my grandmother/grandfather and my girlfriend at the time. My grandmother was trying to show me my aunt/uncles new house but they weren't home. My grandmother walked up the huge deck stairs in the back and was showing us through the patio/deck doors. I got a real bad feeling like something's not right here so I walked down and told my girlfriend hang on to my grandmother and let's roll. Girlfriend got all scared and said what's wrong. I said not exactly sure but something's not right here getting a real bad feeling. 2 days later my Uncles father who was living in an apartment created in the basement of the house for him shot my Uncle and then turned the gun on himself. I've had other instances of choosing not to go somewhere and then later finding out it was a wise choice not to go but nothing as extreme as the above story. Would I go to a psychic in a strip mall and expect it to be anything other than a scam probably not. But I do believe some people can tap in or get feelings that hey somethings not right here. Might not be 100% crystal clear however. |

I went 1st Class
Quote:
I took an actual class with instructor. All the class got to do hands on work and watch James Randi videos. So impressed I took my son back for the next course. Our final exam, we went to a guy on who had a show on the local cable public access. His routine was where blind folded, would read questions, inside envelopes. We were to each use a fake name and something that couldn't be possible. i.e. asking about a brother when you don't have one. He score 0% right. I'm not that good at it, but my son took it to school and bamboozled the other kids. Oh yeah. It's called "The Read Ahead." You're always answering the question from the prior envelope. The 1st envelope a plant in the audience answers whatever the magician says. When he pretends to answer #2, he's really answering #1. Class was only $20 |

I have been asking a few questions to my dads friend. Trying to find out exactly what is going on.
He says he accesses something called the Akaschic records wiki. The Akaschic records enable him to 'talk' to every single being past, present and future (I think). These records are described in every religion. I like to think about it like the records in that movie Epic. Now, I don't know where you draw the line of believing or understanding but he showed me images on his mobile phone, apparently taken by him and his wife showing goblins and angels. The photos were apparently taken in pitch black and are very blurry. You can however make out patterns which could be these things I guess. He also showed me photos of his wife with an Auora around her and pictures drawn by my dads friend's hand however controlled by another life. Apparently he was barely conscious whilt drawing these images. This is the killer!! He says that he has had Jesus and the 12 disciples in his living room. Oh, and he has previously been certified. |
Watch the first couple of minutes of this video for a better explanation
