Litecoin mining rigs. Thoughts?
Yeah yeah I know. Another thread about coins. Fuck it, move on if you aint interested :321GFY
Back on track. I've been thinking it might be interesting to build a few of these miners just for the hell of it. http://www.cryptobadger.com/build-yo...in-mining-rig/ Plug them in and forget them for a while. It may be a big waste of money and I may not make a cent of profit in the end but ya never know. If all else fails I could turn them into some nice gaming PC's for the kids. Anyone doing this shit here already? If so post up some pics of your setup if you got the time. |
All I know is that it is pointless to mine bitcoin with average PC. If you spend the money on a big rig and you are mining Litecoin I think there is very good chance you will make profit.

Mining doesn't have a future. If you want to make money through BTC or LTC, then try your hands on things like arbitrage.

read that article last week, pretty good article, but all the gpu are out of stock on amazon.
i am planning to build one for myself. this is profitable method instead of minig btc go for scrypt mining, if difficulty rises or your daily net lowers down , start mining another currency, keep mining and wait for 2-3 years and hope it will get jump just like btc . at the end of the day you still have the hardware. |
reminds me of gold diggers back in the days , most of them broke poor asses living like
savages trying to make a buck on mining while the guys managing the infrastructure and selling the tools are the big profit makers... |
This is my opinion as an ex miner
Its too late, wait for the ASIC for LTC to come out in jan (if its not a scam) |

one issue though, you can't melt it down and make necklaces ;) |

thats why i think its not too late for scrypt coins instead of all jumping on btc. |
