Not having any luck reaching him either Mike. Been trying for the past 3 months or so for a paid product support. Not like him at all...hope he is alright.

Just signup for a really cheap shared hosting account at a quality shared hosting provider! I run my blog network off 6 or so shared hosting accounts and I couldn't be happier...don't have to worry about losing all my work, uptime is fantastic, and the price is cheap.

Didn't it start with Twan the same way? ...

These sites are going away because the money is disappearing from them. That is the underlying problem. So all blog hosts will likely be hit. It says a lot about this aspect of the industry too. Sales aren't what they used to be and margins are down.

I've been emailing him for months about a script issue and no response...

If this is true then running your own network won't help either, makes me sad. I can't see being in this business if I can't make money from blogging.

You could also use Sexter.me as an image blogging platform. Similar to tumblr.

The problem with free blog hosts has nothing to do with making money off blogs, it's that nowadays you're less likely to get traffic if you're using a free host than if you're hosting your own.

This is because free hosts are a magnet for splogs.

So you're hosting your site on a domain that has probably thousands of blogs, featuring thousands of identical posts so there goes your precious google traffic.

And running your own network couldn't be easier nowadays with wordpress by setting up a network.

When I search "Strapon Seduction" in google, your site is not even in the first pages...

And checked on keyword planner, the keyword is not even hard to rank, I mean, just a few searches per month.

So are you sure you know everything about SEO?

Please, show me where I claimed to know everything there is to know about SEO.

I am merely pointing out the fact, which you're free to show me if I'm in the wrong, that hosting a blog on a domain that has thousands of identical posts is not the best strategy.

But if you have data which proves otherwise I'd love to see it. Like the 80-year old whore said, "the secret to success is to never stop learning" :thumbsup

Free blog hosts owner have to pay the bills and earn few bucks so he redirects your mobile traffic and puts his ads, sometimes quite a lot of them - that sucks in terms of money making and search engine traffic (redirects/cloaking/etc...).

I've made nice money with Thumblogger/Sensualwriter, but that time is over. Google algorithm's changed, free hosted blogs get shitty to none traffic - it's better to spend that time building blogs on your own network. It's cheaper, it's safer and bring much more $$$ making opportunities :2 cents:

I still build some auto blogs on free blog hosts here and there, but it's like few % of my network and it should stay like that.
