RedTube Now Looks Like PornHub

Design change today - good for sales? Hmmm......

I don't think having EVERY one of your tube sites looking EXACTLY THE SAME helps sales Mind Geek but I am hoping I am wrong. LOL

But why settle on this design Mind Geek family of tubes? First YouPorn, now RedTube. I was hoping for more thumbnails per homepage (now there's only 26). So with more and more Content Partners begging for homepage space (like moi) why don't you add MORE thumbs/videos to your homepage(s)? You know, double them, give us Content Partners a chance to make, you know, more sales?

Good luck with the re-design RedTube! Hope it does well for you (and us)! :thumbsup

because it hasn't been about paysite sales for years?

looks like fucking tube once again :)

@The Porn Nerd: don't all tubes basically look the same anyway?

They all just remind me of the the skim TGP and MGP site -- of yesteryear -- just a page of thumbs and advertisements. Tubes just look all the same to me except the logo. There's nothing really unique about any of them... kind of like, you've seen one, seen them all... no originality.

That's absolutely true for the vast majority of tubes, especially the cookie-cutter "tube in a box" type sites. But the BIG tubes, the Alexa 1000 or better, usually have (had?) some originality to them. But now it's the same exact design and I'm just wondering how they settled on that design and why because, honestly, less thumbs on the Homepage does NOT help us paysite owners one bit. Just sayin'.

I'm pretty sure that helping paysite owners is the LAST thing on their minds.

Hell, they have built their traffic and money off of destroying paysite owners.

less thumbnails per homepage = more page views.

They are not catering to content partners, they are just the product being used to sell traffic.

hm, we'll see how the porn tube thing will end one day.....i can't imagine the market in 10 ten years...still with webmasters earning money....:helpme

Less content per page has people clicking the next button. More page views equals higher price for ad sales.

This is a mainstream thing too. Some of the sites I visit have gone to splitting articles up over 2-3 pages instead of just one.

Where's the design change? Looks the same to me as it has for quite awhile.

DVTimes 12-04-2013 07:32 AM

like it a lot

That doesn't have sense, when i was adding more pics on frontpage on my TGP sites i always got more clicks. But again this is videos in question.

That is interesting, I hadn't thought of that (thank you).

Still sucks tho, and I would still like more Hompage placement and spots, being a Paysite owner. :)
