What's the best day of the week to buy the top spot on a large TGP?
 

What's the best day of the week to buy the top spot on a large TGP? I know that our site is busiest on Mondays but I'm not sure that is the best day to convert. What about the big TGPs? I'm going to be buying up some spots and I was wondering what people recommend. Most of the large sites charge the same daily rate regardless of what day of the week the listing is for.

traffic on TGPs and buying patterns over the course of the week I would bet are VERY similar to those on CJ.

I'm not convinced that there is a huge difference between sales on any specific days. You might see a difference if you were doing 100+ sales a day consistently for weeks and then went back and compared the days.

It's also hard to tell because you could make more sales on one day and less on another but it could be because surfers liked the content on one gallery more than another.

This is based on search engine sales, not TGP, but from my experience I've seen a spike on Sunday/Monday night sales over the last 6 months of doing some analysis. I can speculate why, but I haven't done anything formal to really come to a solid conclusion. Just thought I would share my 2c on SE signups.
