Actually yes I watched that on Netflix a couple of weeks ago, freakin amazing that fight scene with the skeletons in Clash of the Titans blows my mind everytime I see it. I need to rent 10,000 Years BC so I can fap to Raquel Welch.

I love the stuff they did with mirrors.

Ray Harryhausen flicks were a mainstay at double features and drive-ins when I was a kid. See them on a big screen if you get a chance. :thumbsup

I have to check it out! I probably don't need to - I've been a Harryhausen fan since the womb ;) but it's always great to revisit...

izombie: Skeletons in Clash? I think you mean Jason and the Argonauts...

:D

nice find, that's the one. i can't recollect exactly, but at some point in my childhood, this monster was a favorite.

the scene where he is on the table is one i recall. kinda odd.

after watching the doc, and the sf-fi boys doc, i realized that harryhausen was the dude behind most all sci-fi movies i watched growing up. the golden voyage of sinbad had a huge impact on me, that fucking girl was ridiculous hot and i was about 12 i think

Nah not Mitchum, strictly a "B" monster movie from the late 50's

I just remember a few scenes from the movie and hiding behind the seats while watching it, I couldn't have been older than 5 at the time and was there with my big sister (who passed away recently, maybe I'm getting maudlin as I get drunker) :1orglaugh

When I first got my Netflix account years ago that was the very first movie I rented, it was fun to see those scenes that scared me so much as a child. I never forgot about it. Funny how something in childhood can make such a big impression that you remember it for your entire life.
