it does seem a bit bubble-like, just few months ago it was floating around $100, now it's $1000... without any good reason, it's not like amazon or ebay announced they accept bitcoins now....

of course it seems a bit bubble-like. nothing wrong with that. bubbles are not inheritently bad, and in fact, many feel they are part & partial to a thriving economy.

https://www.google.com/search?q=bubb...sm=93&ie=UTF-8

but my point was more along the lines of the doom & gloom predictions people make about btc. naysayers were declaring it was a bubble at $35, at $100, a $150, $200, $250, $500, $800. i mean so what. the internet was a bubble in 1999. look at the internet today.

:)

Colmike9 11-27-2013 11:45 AM

I really, really wish I bought a bunch when I was it at $3 when I first heard about it instead of laughing and thinking it was some big pyramid scheme... :Oh crap

_Richard_ 11-27-2013 11:47 AM

No doubt this bubble will pop eventually, and I personally still believe at some point the feds will step in and mess it all up, but in the meantime, it's there for the taking.

Whether it's the Feds or the balloon popping, if you can sell for $1,000 - get out now and have a great holiday!

Make ur own Bitcoins if u have a high traffic site, stick some ads up. Pretty easy to generate half a bitcoin with these guys and they pay out. I have withdrawn twice from them and never had any problems.

They do allow adult sites

Here's why bitcoin......

CHINA can sell over the Internet to the entire world without middle men, exchange rates to dollars etc.......

China is backing bit coin in a huge way.

Withdrawn how much big/small? do they let you withdraw $100,000.00 at a time?

Who here has been able to get $100,000.00 out or more at a time from 1 exchange, Which one?

This would be helpful. >;-))

bro, everything is a bubble. businesses and industries and technologies grow. they, like markets, shrink and expand....... they are living entities.

so sure, in x # of years when btc fizzles out as an experimental crypto-currency, which is what it is, it's not an investment vehicle by design, you can tell us all *i told you so*

and i'm sure a lot of folks will let you know what you missed out on.

Never withdrawn that amount and I have no idea if you could draw that amount worth of bitcoins out

These guys are similar to Juicy ads but they pay out in Bitcoins. You can withdraw anything over 0.01 BTC

I have drawn out just under 2 BTC so with todays value thats just under 2k worth of $$

BTW bitcoin ads work well on gambling sites

DAMNMAN 11-27-2013 03:46 PM

Looking for exchanges that convert US Dollars in good quantities over $10,000.00 at a time.

But wait....

That would mean that this technology might have some real actual value :)

It's called speculation.. When the speculation is done with it crashes most likely because there is nothing to hold it at those levels. It will eventually crash that's a given, but if it can survive the crash from this amount, it should help strengthen it.

Rat King 11-27-2013 05:49 PM

I think some people will cash out for the holidays but in guessing we are only half way to the next pop.

Phoenix 11-27-2013 06:46 PM

i really wish i had bought when it was super cheap also

sucks..i actually thought about it..then said no...this is crazy

lagcam 11-27-2013 06:59 PM

I am still kicking myself over choosing magic beans over bitcoins when that old lady stopped me on the way to the market, and it doesn't help that the huge vine that sprouted up in my garden when my mum threw them out of the window is going up almost as fast as the bitcoin price chart.

They mean the long term, obviously. For example a few years. This crash, which is on the way up now by the way, won't hurt bitcoin.
