Bandwidth & TGP Galleries
 

Hey,

I have 2 dedicated servers that I run mainstream and adult hosting on (mostly for my own sites).. But right now I use a free sponsored host for my TGP traffic.

How much bandwidth would it take a month to run 5 or 10 TGP Galleries getting 10k+ uniques a day? (I'm basically wondering if it will cost me too much to run the TGP's on my paid servers)

I'm sure I could do the math, but it's easier if someone who knows can post their numbers. :helpme

I use 2000 gigs per month with 200k per day to galleries

probably something like 30-40 gigs a day... very hard to say; depends on how big your pics are, how much traffic you get - you can't just categorily say you'll get 10k per gallery - how many hot link your images and so on :)

I would say, roughly 50 gig/day

CPanel has hotlink protection :thumbsup

So like 200 or so GB a month as a rough estimate for my target numbers.. not bad.. bandwidth is so freaking expensive.. think i'll stick to the free hosts for the tgp galleries.. i can do with giving them a banner ad or the referral bonuses :)

Anyone know if any of the big boys block out sites hosted by RevShare Hosting? Their service totally kicks ass, so I hope I dont get blocked.

revshare is top notch, I made very decent money from one of their revcore servers throughout the whole last year

A 15 pic gallery with one banner and the big pics 50k to 35k burns about one gig per 10k page views I have found

February gave me one million gallery impressions and burned through 100 GB.
