Nikon Coolpix S6300

Is this an okay camera? I saw them at Sam's Club today for $80, looked pretty small, which would be great. Just looking for a fairly inexpensive camera to have around when needed. Something small, easy to use, takes decent pictures.

For small point and shoot I prefer Canon, I shoot nikon dslr though.

For something that fits in your pocket, I have two of these and love them:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0075SUK6O/

Price has dropped $100 down to $250 now, it looks like, too .. so it's a steal IMO.

I have one of these and it works just fine. It's a bit slow from power-on to able to shoot (3-4 seconds) but for you, I think it's perfect.

I bought one of those in April. My brother lost it two months later. It was a very nice camera. Probably just get that one again. It was much cheaper when I bought it though, which is strange.

Are you SURE it was that one? It's been $350.

You're right, it was this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Which I paid $150 for.

Ah, gotcha. The one I linked is a very good camera. It scored perfect on CNET's testing at the time, the pictures are very sharp, and the optical zoom is enormous.
