Its the pills doctors in the UK hand out to anyone who says they feel down.

The problem is people stay on them for years.

They put seratone into your brain.

So as soon as you come off them you become depressed.

Same here and the side effects are CRAZY! The doctors should be asking people to exercise and do something meaningful with their life rather than give them drugs. I bet it would solve a lot of "depressions" if people would just get off their fat ass and use their body once in a while.

In the uk doctors get freebies from the tablet firms. Including holidays.

The problem is that it should be short turm. But you get people who are on them for life.

Yea I wonder, what is she replacing these things with? I remember quitting both cigs and weed and you have to replace it with something. Like carrots and pushups lol, I ate a fuckload of those and did pushups every time I would think I wanted a smoke. Worked fine for me.

Actually that I a great idea.

Breaking all of your chemical addictions at once will allow you to withdraw from all of them and rather than try to compensate by upping one that you stay on, you actually deal with the problem.

Just like it is nearly impossible to quite smoking cigs while drinking because the 2 are so interconnected.

Best of luck to them!

Zeiss 11-27-2013 11:18 AM

I'm several minutes off weed, sorry. :1orglaugh

it's been proven to be a very bad idea. i've seen it happen in my own recovery experiences with others. and it's always been the case in detox/recovery to never stop smoking during an alcohol detox/recovery. hell, i started smoking during recovery to make up for it all (drugs and alchohol).

she might have luck since there's no alchohol involved, which seems surprising. but all of those cigs, weed and happy pills are escape tools, as marku; pointed out, gotta replace those asap or the deal falls apart. especially doing it at home and not in a recovery center.
