Bitcoin people, what do you think how it will do until this years' end?

The huge rise has stopped a bit, i have been keeping an eye on it and i think it will go down (sort of a cool down from all the government & media attention) again, before it will continue the rise. Do you think it will do the same? Share your insights :thumbsup

I predict it to be around 350 by New Years but who knows. One thing for sure is that this high price and attention is baaad for Bitcoin... would be nice to see it plateau and stabilize.

nexcom28 11-25-2013 01:40 PM

I originally thought it would drop to around $300. Now I doubt it will go below $500.

I actually bought more earlier this week.

pornmasta 11-25-2013 02:01 PM

ask the chineses

Penny24Seven 11-25-2013 02:04 PM

950 at new year

uniquemkt 11-25-2013 02:06 PM

If it drops under $400 i'm going to double my holdings. I don't expect that to happen, so I'm doing weekly buys.

seeandsee 11-25-2013 02:40 PM

It will go under 300 for sure

DWB 11-25-2013 02:48 PM

I don't know where it's going, but would love to see it hit $1000+.

Paul 11-25-2013 02:50 PM

If you're looking to get into crypto currencies to make big returns have a look at the other alt coins

http://www.coinmarketcap.com

A lot of them are rocketing in value

I've got litecoin as well. They have doubled in the last week. Obviously on Bitcoins coat tails.

mozadek 11-25-2013 07:45 PM

Peercoin is the future, buy low, sell high.

Can you explain how the attention is bad?

jscott 11-26-2013 01:03 PM

L-Pink 11-26-2013 01:09 PM

I applaud you guys that bought in early.

PR_Glen 11-26-2013 02:17 PM

from a mathematical perspective its trending up. But we've all witnessed it's vulnerability.

ltc has more than doubled, which i didn't think would happen over night..

Tell me about it! I bought in at $2.66 and thought I had overpaid.

It's sitting at just under $20 now, I'm honestly gobsmacked by the rise :helpme

1000% plus increase in the past month!

It'll be interesting to see what happens to the value of all the other coins once this Bitcoin bull run is over, in the past they've all followed Bitcoin down but I'm not so sure that's gonna be the case this time round

nico-t 11-27-2013 04:20 AM

yea, litecoin looks like it would be able to stand on its own the way it has been going.

if you look at the other currencies at http://coinmarketcap.com/ do you think the ones with the lowest supply would be worth the most eventually?

Not necessarily, there's a lot of factors to look at.

I'd be looking at the ones that have the best development teams behind them and the ones that have more features and potential than Bitcoin. Also the difficulty rate of mining each specific coin is important as an indication of the strength of the network.

Litecoin is popular because it's 4 times faster than Bitcoin but there are others than offer better features than Litecoin. Right now all the alt coins are rocketing in value so do a bit of reading and make a choice.

At some point in the future these other alt coins are going to end up on the other major exchanges i.e. Mt Gox, Bitstamp & BTCchina when that happens the market capitalisation of those other coins is going to go up fast!

Another factor to take on board is all the other alt coins are in a bigger speculative bubble than Bitcoin, at least with Bitcoin it's got the infrastructure being put in place with the likes of Bitpay and a few other payment processors to take payments.

The other alt coins have no payment processors and very little infrastructure, they're probably 1 or 2 years behind Bitcoin but then again you could argue with a faster market capitalisation than Bitcoin they'll probably have the infrastructure faster than it took Bitcoin to get to that point.

pornmasta 11-27-2013 02:13 PM
