now they're down in it.

Yesterday was the first Sunday in 3 weeks they didn't lose.

Yesterday was the first time i've sat through 3 live games in a row. Go me!

They DEF got the W tonight against Washington!

Niners got a tough road ahead of them but will squeeze into the playoffs as wild card or 6th seed

yesterday was probably the most insane day of nfl i've ever watched in my life! insane!!1

to go from playing in the superbowl last year to *hoping* to make the playoffs via a wildcard slot this year is an nfl downward spiral.

there's more to it than their 2 loses, other teams have been winning. that pushes the 9's further down.

It's hard for me to root for an NFC East team, but Washington winning tonight would help the Eagles with wildcard positioning if they don't manage to win the division. Since the Foreskins aren't a threat to Philly in the NFC East, I have to root for them to beat SF.

I laughed my ass off a couple of weeks ago when she made that lengthy post about SF's explosive offense, and then I checked the scores in the evening and SF lost 10-9.

that was harsh eh! i felt it too, i root for them niners every weekend to win. almost as much as i root for them cowboys to lose!

but sara's a good sport, she's certainly a big fan and i like that.

I would have been happy that my team has a winning record this year, and now to think they have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs (and possibly win the division). If this is just a taste of what Chip Kelly can do with the Eagles, I'm genuinely excited that Philly may finally win a Super Bowl within the next couple of years, and then continue to be a SB threat for a long time.

it's pretty impressive, their turnaround. i thought they were done when vick's hammie went bad, but foles is starting to emerge as a fine qb. and all around, they look solid going into the crucial part of the season.

I hope they continue their downward spiral so my Cardinals can get back to post season. we've won 4 in a row and I loved the 40-11 ass kicking we gave the colts sunday.

They would literally have to be 1st in the NFL to not need a wild card birth lol. Since they are not first in their division its not a stretch for them to need a wild card entry to the playoffs. There are not 6 better teams in the NFC regardless of your opinion. You make no sense.

Hoping for a good game and a big win for the Niners tonight.

LOL no thesis to post....That New Orleans Saints Robbery where they stole the game from the niners caused me to step back and see if I am going to continue watching football.

After the robbery during the superbowl in New Orleans and then the robbery playing the saints last week was enough to show me that these games are many times decided by the refs and not the actual team who pulled out the win.

I am hoping for a clean fun and fair game with the redskins tonight!

Cold as hell here and I was going to try and make the game but may just elect to have an after party after we take care of business tonight:)

hopefully portends a solid finsih to the season. i wonder if they are mathmatically stuck as a wildcard at best or if they can still enter the playoffs straight up......i guess the # crunchers will have that sorted asap.

my football compardres point to me when that commercial comes on, i am notorious about not getting my hopes up pre-game.
