Calling out all cams/dating affiliate programs, stop messing around

Get real, and stop stealing from affiliates.

Why are the majority of affiliate programs still tracking JUST by cookies? There are a 1001 ways for a cookie to get lost, not even to speak about private browsing/incognito mode.

When i use one of many cams/dating revshare offers, and a user does an initial free signup, i want that user account connected to my affiliate id and NOT just a cookie that can and will get lost eventually.

How many people here are using "revshare" cams, thinking they are actually getting all the repeat sales? :1orglaugh Think again, when the cookie is gone, that customer is stolen from you. The way (most, not all) programs track, your revshare is nothing but a "temporary revshare" at best.

note: in most cases this does not apply to whitelabels.

Own up, which cams/dating program is actually locking signups to the affiliate, i know alot of you don't...and there is only 1 reason why you aren't, and it isn't pretty.

Thats funny because i have people buying from nearly 2 years ago on rev share.

How do you check if you are on a cookie and what other options should be being used?

ErectMedia 11-23-2013 08:25 AM

You pretty much need to do a test signup under controlled conditions. Maybe a few of them.

What should happen at the very least is if they use frees you should be tied to the surfer so if they upgrade you get commission. There should be no reliance on whether or not your affiliate cookie still exists at the time of the paid join.

They all get majority of their traffic from Google. Streamate white labels sat very well in Google for years which provided a user base where each guy spends $100+ each and every month. Recent talk about they lost their rankings etc... but to this day still Majority of traffic coming from Google. :2 cents:

That's great, but i'm not exactly interested in hiring models etc, i don't want to become an affiliate program or own a camstudio, i simply want affiliate programs to properly count my sales and stop shaving off sales that is being done now in many ways.

Of course - but you don't have to hire models to use LiveCamNetwork. You can use it to promote existing models already in the network, and hire models later only if you want to. Instead of settling for a fixed commission, you can adjust the commission (actually, revenue share) to suit your liking (charge more for premium models, less for amateur models for example).

There's no cookies or tracking code embedded in the URL so there's nothing there's nothing to be "lost" or "deleted" - every sale is counted. You don't give up your customers to a 3rd party because your customers pay you directly for all chat time (and we bill you later). You can pick and choose the models you want to promote. It installs on your domain, and is fully customizable with your own logo, graphics, banners, colours, text, etc.

And and and, ... more more more....

Let me know if you would like a demo.
