what video format are you using?
what video formats are you using on your sites these days? avi, mpg, wmv? and which codec H264, V8 etc? , frame size? and bit rate? what do you find works best for you.
thanks |
.FLV for content store samples.

mp4: h.264 video codec, AAC audio codec.
Looks like ffmpeg now supports h.265 so after I do some research, we may switch to that codec for video. From what I gather, it's what h.264 should've been -- but don't hold me to that because I haven't done a whole lot of research on the matter. FLV is outdated, as is avi (xvid/divx), wmv, mpeg, etc. MP4 is the standard, supported everywhere (except for maybe systems from like 15 years ago). |
thanks guys :thumbsup

MP4 and h264 codec :winkwink:

I've converted a few with h.265 to test. File size reduction is awesome.
