Death of a Star
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-25041335
I have a tough time getting my head round things like this. A distant star exploded which was 30-40 times bigger than our sun. The light from the explosion took 4 billion years to reach us and the explosion would have only lasted a minute.. During the explosion the star would collapse in on itself creating a black hole and producing a gamma ray burst. Sound like science fiction to me. |
Science fiction? Or cannot comprehend?

Nope ! Contrary to recent rumours... I am still ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this thread was about Kim Kardashian.

I still question how they can possibly know half the shit they tell us.
We can only ever assume they are right and it's facts... |

if it's the brightest ever, doesn't that mean it's the closest gamma burst ever?

I'll say one thing though, if we were to ever figure out a way to harness energy like that the universe would become a lot smaller to us fast. |
they know shit, they can just hope they are right
