He was in the US for Hormone treatment. the article I saw about it did not say for sure it was related but I am guessing it is.

This person can not possibly have any quality of life.

They should be euthanized as it is the only kind thing to do in this situation.

hormone imbalance?

he eats too much hormones?

few months of proper diet, moving out of that wheelchair, daily walks, more proper diet, more walking and fat burning and he would be "normal".

you don't get fat by air intake but wrong food intake.

are you a doctor? There are a tiny percentage of morbidly obese people who actually have a hormone disorder. :2 cents:

I know a guy with a "hormone imbalance". He's not 500 pounds yet but he's getting close to 4 bills. The truth is he just doesn't move. He'll get in his truck and drive instead of walking 30 feet. That's not even an exaggeration. Sure, his knees started getting bad because of his massive weight, but his own laziness is probably responsible for most of his weight gain.

nico-t 11-21-2013 05:45 AM

so a hormone imbalance makes you fat? Somehow i thought it was related to eating too fucking much. Silly me..

John-ACWM 11-21-2013 07:37 AM

Sometimes it is just about common sense... but who knows.

TheMoneyMan 11-21-2013 07:53 AM

Not hard to figure out, calories in vs calories out.

thyroid issues are huge.. I have seen friends not change a damn thing in their life other than getting old and recently have a thyroid imbalance and over years easily gain 60lbs and then get on synthroid/related drugs to lose it all and return to normal.

I can only imagine the bill. My friends wife was at the Mayo for 13 days. After room, meals and testing their bill was a reasonable $221K
