Jetpack + Tumblr + Wordpress

Seriously, has anyone ever successfully gotten this setup running so that the featured image (or any image at all for that matter) actually reaches tumblr correctly?

In the tumblr feed, it only shows text and link to post.

In the tumblr blog itself, it shows the image 50% of the time (but lately, no image at all)

tumblr is banning if you link to just one site. just a heads up.

Ok, thanks for the info. I can see that happening actually,, just linking to one site seems too spamy? I think I'm ok though as I am publishing content from multiple sites.

Am I correct in asuming that jetpack doesnt select the right post type on tumblr? It seems like it's working as a "link" post instead of a "photo" post.

Been experimenting with IFTTT to see how usable it could be and I'm starting to think it might be better off using IFTTT instead of jetpack.
