Taking payments from Mexican and Argentinians?
High!
I have asked this question before but it was for people in Brazil. In Brazil they have CC but not for international use. So I was thinking of setting up a site using CCBILL but was wondering if in Mexico or Argentina they even have credit cards? Thanks B |
no they don't have credit cards, they eat each other
|
Yes they have CC but not a lot of people have them. with % in the upper 40% and much higher they also don't tend to have recurring payments on them either.
|
I've never had a sale from Argie
|
Okay - CCBILL just got back and said they cannot do Argentina

You are better off with Epoch for that. Forget Argentina, most banks wont take those transactions whether theres credit cards or not. But for Mexico, its less of a problem.
It's been a few years since I did any volume of business in Mexico but I seem to recall Epoch had a higher throughput due to their friendliness with a variety of debit, atm, and charge cards that are pretty popular down there but hard for US banks to handle. In particular Visa Electron and MC Maestro cards. |
accept kilos

No it makes no sense to accept a credit card from a country that is spelled differently than your own.
A country normally has folks, citizens that wish to transact online. However ccbill operating as your processing agent has decided that you do not need more revenue, and you do not need to introduce your business to new markets. Just trust and believe you are getting all the sales you possibly can. When you don't make the monies.....THEY DON'T MAKE THE MONIES |
