Paysite protection script, like pennywize?

Hi,

I need a paysite protection system, like pennywize. But I don't like recurring payments...

I found stopthathacker.com as well. But I have 12-14 sites coming, so it's kinda expensive.,,,I am to late to use the 99 dollar promo :-(

Thnx

Andre

justsexxx, look at Password Sentry from Monster-Scripts (do a google, don't have their URL handy!)... however, Dan's script *is* limited to usage on one domain per license, so you would need multiple seats for your 12-14 domains... however, it is reasonably priced w/ no recurring bullshit, and does work very well... we've used it for years now, pretty rock-solid when set in "script-based auth" mode..!

Dude, if you're seriously thinking about bringing 14 paysites to market then stop whinging about recurring payments.
Pennywize rocks and its extremly cost effective, with so many paysites you are going to get the shit hacked out of you and it will pay for itself every month.
I just think its a bit rich expected your customers to sign-up for recurring memberships when you won't do it yourself for an excellent product with a proven track record.: 2 cents:

Well I maybe we have our reasons why we don't like recurring payments.....

Anyway, pennywize is good, but I heard not so good as iprotect..Okay your webadmin is not as nice as pennywize, but iprotect does it's job better....

I'm sure some tech guys do agree with me that the server resourses are much lower with iprotect....

Iprotect works like a charm. Itīs a C compiled module that looks
where it should look.....at the httpd request....and not
by piping logfiles through some script. Of course pennywize works
and Iīm sure it works good but still I would chose Iprotect at any
time over pennywize.

Your not dependent on some service
No monthly bills to keep track off
Mod that can be statically compiled in your webserver
A lot lighter on resources....
no piping/parsing logfiles
License for 3 servers for 1 fee, no per domain bullshit
Free support and upgrades....and I know Chris does a good job.

No system is bulletproof, good coders always will find new ways
to get around it. These measures are to stop 98% of the idiots
and for that itīs effective.

With a system like this in place you still need to keep a good eye
on your bandwidth stats just to make sure nothing slips through.

I have Password Sentry, and so far I love it. $50 per site, after the first ($65) one-time payment. Free install. Plus, it clearly works-- It has already caught 3-4 in the last week or so, on my little sites.
