Lords of Porn and OCCash PPS gone?!
 

Just got a sale through Lords of Porn for $12... I always use PPS links only so decided to check what's up. It seems that they dropped PPS programs and converted all links to Revshare... The same goes for OCCash PPS links.

No email, no info on their website... New owner or something? Maybe it just my account?

Same owners minus xxxjay who left.

When XXXJay left I realized it was going to be bad over there. Say what you will about his coke whore party lifestyle, but he was the voice of reason over there. With him gone I don't trust the program.

JC and I have been running the show since day one. Jay came on board later, and as you're aware, is no longer with the company. :)

There was a joint decision that was made some time ago while Jay was still with the company to do away with PPS on that program as a whole and others due to the high amount of affiliate fraud associated with PPS. I am happy to take a look at the accounts individually to see if it is in both our interest to continue. I am sorry that you did not receive the notice that was sent on this.

We at OC, PSP, and LOP are focused and looking to the future with major revamping of all of the OCCash sites and PornStarPlatinum continues to grow at an astounding rate.

JC has always run all of the programs as managing partner.

Half truth Dan. I WAS there at the time, however I didn't find out about the PPS removal till AFTER it was done. I had no say in the matter. There was no email, phone call, or ICQ.

It just got switched. I didn't know myself till weeks later.

Far-L, far from the truth. It has always been my opinion; even before I was a program owner, if you were doing 2 pre-checked X-Sales, you should be doing PPS.

By offering PPS, you would get better webmasters, more joins, and even if you lost money on the initials you could still make money on the x-sales.

The decision to eliminate the PPS program was done without my knowledge, because my partners knew I would oppose it. I knew that some accounts word being moved back to revshare for fraud or eliminated altogether.

I didn't know the PPS was gone until I logged in the program myself and looked.

This is a perfect example of why my partners and I parted ways. As being the "face of the company", I would be the one to ultimately look bad when things like this were uncovered.

I was a webmaster before I was a program owner. I always have been, and still am "pro-webmaster". Without good webmasters your affiliate program is nothing.

Having someone like Dan disparage me on a public board and put words in my mouth like this is very hurtful to my reputation. I worked very hard for the last 14 years to be somebody in this business. However, I could see how something like this would paint me in a bad light. That's why I would've handled this differently.

Towards the end of the OCCash relationship, there was little to no communication at all. It would've been my job to contact the webmasters to tell them we were discontinuing our PPS programs. I was never given that directive, nor was I part of the decision-making process to terminate PPS.

Sorry, you think I am bullshitting, but what I am telling you is the truth.

I understand that and I agree completely. Why do you think I have not said anything about them publicly other than I was leaving the company?

I don't appreciate having others speak for me or insinuating that I was part of the decision-making on things that I wasn't.

I remember the removal of PPS and when offering it only on a case by case basis was decided. I am respectfully responding with the facts to questions and comments that were made regarding the initial question and comments. As evident from the threads, the original affiliate and I have been in touch and things are being taken care of as they should be and in a professional manner on a case by case basis which is our policy.

We still offer PPS on a case by case basis and affiliates are always welcome to reach me at any time to discuss. Please allow this message to be final and, if necessary, I can be reached directly to discuss as this will be the last post that the company will have regarding this issue.
