Yeah seriously! Maybe my imagination is crap but what real World situations would this be better that what is currently available. Don't get me wrong it's way cool. But.

I can see this being used in the porn industry for interaction in cam shows, ie remote wanking ? Using a soft material.

Or perhaps remote handling of hazardous waste ?
Food preparation remotely
Museum displays.
A remote massage bed ? The list goes on!

Yeah sure once it has been refined, improved, streamlined etc. But for now look at the size of the equipment needed for this. And even if you were handling radioactive material, you would still need to move that entire apparatus to that location first.
Few more years (months?) and BOOM! We can play with each other from our desks. Sorry, I mean shake hands. Ahem!
