Julius, our new King and Queen are making their first visit to the Dutch Antilles.
They will be on Curacao monday november 18 en 19.

They must be present on "gouvernementsplein" = "Government square" on monday morning. It will be a ceremony with the guards that will salute etcetra. They are now on the other islands. I can't find what time, Google is down here for me.

Monday morning, starting 8:30 at "gouvernementsplein" / "Governement Square"
They will arrive 09:00 and press can make pictures, people can watch.

It reminds a little Sint Maarten (only dutch pirate island I been to), but curacao seems more cute. Those cruise boats must bring in thousands of noisy tourists each day :)

Curacao is nice, but you need a car for everything.
The nicest beaches are in the north, only reachable by car.

Julius, nice pictures also can be taken at "Pietermaai Small".
That is a small area with old renovated houses.
Used to be best neighbourhood till drugs took over.
But recently completely renovated.

It is walking distance. There is also Jazzcafe Miles where they have nice music in the weekends.
