I want to save (to disk) all the pictures from my timeline and then delete them
Also, I post to 30+ for sale groups and would like to be able to automate posting and deletions ...

Pretty sure facebook has a link somewhere for you to download all your information. About deleting it, probably up to you.

Hootsuite is good for automation of posting, I don't know if it will automatically delete your postings as well though.
