GFY was a great place to pick up clients with a few crack pots and a couple of scammers....

NOW GFY is a great place to find crackpots, a bunch of scammers working the board and every now and then you can pick up a client :thumbsup

I find good people on GFY all the time.

The world in general has more crackpots and scammers than it did 10 years ago, so it's should be no surprise this place isn't any different...

The internet has removed the face-to-face aspect of scamming someone so anyone that previously wouldn't have been brave enough can now do it internationally with anonymity.

I think part of the problems are the mods not being active on the board. They should make some of the active members mods and start taking out the scammers and 2cent post whores.

Perhaps YOU have less clients now than in the past because of some of the racist bigotry that you have espoused on GFY, or because you post links to videos of beheadings of women and such. People may be too polite, or see no point in telling you to your face. :2 cents:

I vote for this. Most people get scared away fast with the rampant idiots that do their drive by shit every day.

I think GFY is not that bad. Scammers are everywhere and it's nothing new. It's just a matter of being careful in choosing with who you do your business.
