DMU.com for sale

DMU.com for sale, 13,900$us

Let me know if interested. Premium letters here. Please no lowball offers.

JohnnyNight 11-11-2013 12:21 PM

U should put the domain up for auction at godaddy..

3 letter domains can often go for substantially more than what U are asking

kuerten 11-11-2013 01:48 PM

Nice domain, good luck.

arock10 11-11-2013 04:04 PM

There was a guy buying them for $2400 on here try him

Cash_Buyer 11-18-2013 02:38 PM

sorry but had 9500$us offer already , but looking for 10,900$us now. So cheap for a 3 letter domain!!

JohnnyNight 11-18-2013 04:30 PM

Just wondering, I know there's a few DMU registered trademarks...

Should that be a concern.

I imagine there's a lot of a 3 letter domains that have trademarks associated with them, but don't know how it plays out..

HappyBuds 11-18-2013 04:37 PM

Good question.

Any trademark infringement cease and desist letters are you aware of?

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 03:06 AM

Per ICANN rules, 2 and 3 letters domains cannot be of trademarks issues. This is because there are many companies in the world that can have the initials DHI or SSK etc... It can be a university, a company, website, corporation, a channel, a band etc...
Facebook paid 7 million dollars to purchase FB.com which belonged to the Farmer's Bureau. A nice sale i must say :) But there are no problems with trademarks.

Where you could have a problem, is if you have a domain like IBM.com , while IBM is the known company, you could sell it to them or keep it. But you can have a problem if you build a website on IBM.com ( your domain ) insulting, criticizing or competing IBM Corp directly. Then yes, they can come against you. But if you build a website selling wines, they can't do anything.

So there are NO problems with trademarks , unless stated above. But as a domain alone, there are no issues with 3 letters. Because it could be anything with 3 letters.

Trademark issues are more present in longer domains, such as Facebooksucks.com etc... Where you just can't defend the fact that you registered this by mistake ;)

Domain is still for sale and looking for a quick deal at 10,900$us. really cheap for what it is.
Estibot.com appraisal is at 41k$!

Let me know!

DiamonMike 11-19-2013 07:25 AM

Isn't 10k a bit low for a triple premium .com?
I've seen 4L's being sold for more than that.

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 07:33 AM

Some sell for even 6000$us , but they contain "bad" letters such as Z W Q Y J Z which simply can't be used properly.
DMU.com has good premium letters and its value is between 10k-15k$ as a domain sold at reseller value. Meaning you buy at this price and then you either use it or simply wait for the end user to come with a 20k 30k 50k or 100k offer :)

My price is 10,900$us and it is a bargain for whoever buys it. Estibot.com appraises the domain at 41,000$us.

Let me know! A very good and wise one time investment .

thanks

Feng-PD 11-19-2013 08:14 AM

if you already have a 10k offer, you shoudn't hold out for 900$ more. lol.

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 08:23 AM

i have a 9500$us offer, and looking for 10.900$ read up. thanks

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 08:32 AM

you are confusing people, and no im not interested in buying for the asking price, i only buy bargains.

ottopottomouse 11-19-2013 09:04 AM

If you can't remember what imaginary offers you have had you'll never get what you want for it. Still be for sale next year.

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 11:00 AM

Highest offer is 9500$us at this point. And i am asking 10,900$us. What is confusing here, i don't know.

Thanks very much for this info..

Very helpful to see this..

lochdhu 11-19-2013 02:50 PM

13k is a bargain for this 3 letter dot com

Cash_Buyer 11-19-2013 05:19 PM

Yes it is! Waiting for someone to close the deal!

Twink Content 11-20-2013 08:01 AM

$6500 for a quick deal

Cash_Buyer 11-20-2013 08:33 AM

Twink, I really do have 9500$us offer on the table. I decided to lower the price at 10.900$us.
If you are really serious about purchasing a domain appraised at 41,000$us, i could make a quick deal for 10,500$us. But honestly , i am stretching the price to an absolute minimum. A domain you could resell for 20k$ to 50k$ , and ask anyone if you need a second opinion and they will tell you the same.
3-letter .com domains are pure moneymakers. This week, these 3 sold:

BIX.com - 46,000$us
NWN.com - 29,000$us
RAH.com - 20,000$us

The link to verify these sales in the news is here: http://www.thedomains.com/2013/11/19...-outbreak-com/

So i am selling over 50% less than all these prices , go figure out that you could make an easy 10k-20k$ profit by flipping this domain.

I just don't have the time to search for buyer, and this is why i posted here.

Let me know as it's the wisest one time investment you will make.

Cash_Buyer 11-20-2013 08:57 AM

Forgot to mention that the domain name alone gets about 500-550 unique visitors a day naturally

Graphicnut 11-20-2013 09:43 AM

Do you know what the traffic is after? What was DMU used for in the past, any ideas mate?

Cash_Buyer 11-20-2013 09:50 AM

Domain traffic is 250-350 uniques a day natural. Rest comes from SE due to some gaming website, but nothing huge. 70% of traffic is natural.

Graphicnut 11-20-2013 09:56 AM

Yes so the natural traffic, what are they looking for? Is it all gaming related?

Cash_Buyer 11-20-2013 10:01 AM

Every 3-letter domain has natural traffic. There are many websites, corporations, schools, universities, companies, diseases, and combinations of words represented by these 3 letters. So people try it instead of google-ing and search. That's how.

TubeSubmitters 11-20-2013 10:34 AM

How come with every domain you are trying to sell you have a magic invisible offer close to the asking price but you need a few hundred more?

its a good strategy until you do it too often :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Cash_Buyer 11-20-2013 10:56 AM

Well i guess people who can't afford to purchase a domain try to dig somewhere else with nonsense coz they are bored. I have 9500$us offer and i won't start copy/pasting emails in order to show you. If someone is not smart enough to purchase a domain at a low price and selling for more, then it is not my fault. Also, I don't see anything wrong by being honest and repeating the truth over and over again. The fact that i have an offer is mentioned in order to keep lowball bogus offers around the 5000$us area out of the map. So if you do not believe i have this offer, it is your right. Just be patient until it's sold. If you don't know how much 3-letters domains sell for, do some research.
