I'll get to your comments in the next few days. Yesterday I picked up and spent time with my son, today was taken up by the Niner game, tomorrow I have to take him back to his mom (and take one of the girls' friends home as well) and the next day I have a home school meeting. I might be able to respond to you tomorrow or Tuesday, even with the plans I have, but just know I'm not ignoring you. Regardless of how annoying your comments might be, your comments deserve a response.

ADG, you often remark on why I choose to pay here. Here are a few reasons:

I'm trying to see people the way God sees people, which is something I'm not very good at. It's an even bigger challenge when the person is annoying. I try to look beyond the rudeness and attitude of people like ADG to see what's really being asked. The way he responds to me is due to some deeper, internal question. I think I have an idea what it might be.

You don't think it's just because you make money by speaking out against the evils of his career choice? I doubt there's any deeper reason than that.

How much money have I cost them with my speeches? I'd guess: none. That said, I do think there are deeper questions.

It's not about money but the fact you hang around a place where people congregate that you are speaking out against.

Here's an extreme comparison. What if a westboro baptist member decided to join a forum catering to marines? Why would anyone there treat that person with respect? Their protests have no effect on anything, but it doesn't mean they aren't annoying.

Of course I know you are not preaching hate like them and I am not directly comparing anything you do to those slimebags, but the similarity is you think the world would be a better place without pornography and yet here you are on a board filled with pornographers. Not sure why you would expect to be welcomed or even tolerated.

Would you call it hypocritical for an industry filled with people who champion tolerance to deny tolerance to ANYONE? Even if I am viewed as an intolerant bigot, being intolerant to those who are intolerant is still... intolerant. There is nothing honorable in being "open minded" only with those with which one agrees. If a person cannot tolerate my religious views on an adult forum, that person has no moral high ground whatsoever on the likes of the Westboro Baptist crowd, no?

I come here because interesting things are often discussed, and by people from all over the world. This isn't really a "porn board" as much as it's an international discussion forum. If it was strictly porn - and such places do exist - I wouldn't be here.

So since we have to tolerate everyone on a private forum or be deemed intolerant, then trolls should be allowed to post here just in the name of tolerance? Sorry, but it's not being hypocritical to censor people that are here for the sole reason of disrupting the board. If that was allowed people like Lawrence Connor would make this place unreadable. Personally i think someone that speaks out against porn and who chooses to hang out on a porn forum to be nothing but a troll or attention-seeker. I wouldn't expect a pornographer to be welcome on religious forums either and would be suspect of their motives for wanting to post there in the first place. And the big difference is most pornographers don't have it in their agenda for the religion-based forums / businesses to be shut down.
