anyone hear this transaction denial before?

Transaction declined:

Reason:
Email address exceeds Transaction Throttle

What in the... does that mean?

AdultKing 11-08-2013 10:48 PM

The number of transactions attempted has exceeded the limits placed by the processor/acquirer

bean-aid 11-08-2013 11:11 PM

But there was no other declines.

Your velocity attempt to try and recharge the customer is set too high when they are declined.

The number of transactions attempted by that person across the entire system has exceeded the limits placed by the processor/acquirer. Hope that makes it clearer.

That what it means smart guy. Your trying to hit a card after it's been declined. So you set up a velocity stack and hit them up again. I recommend every 2/3 days as people dont usually deposit money in their bank fucking hourly.

AK knows. Maybe it's just not you. But looking at your pay formula. Yeah, probably just you.

Take a look at your 3d bails and bin mismatches too.

SwirlsGirl 11-09-2013 09:14 AM

So it's not an *approval decline* then....

At least its not an *approval decline*

freecartoonporn 11-09-2013 09:49 AM

I have never seen that either, but if it is ccbill then in it is unusually verbose for them. Considering how many sites are on ccbill, I would guess it means that the customer's email address, not necessarily his credit card is being used too frequently to sign up.

You only see the attempts on your one ccbill account, but across all ccbill accounts you have no idea how many joins that guy is doing.

Yes, it is was a ccbill attempt. Just never seen that decline reason before. I'm wondering what ccbill has programmed in to flag that (1 other current membership, 2 others?). Who knows.

I would never put something like that on my merchant account.
