Exactly. Statistics show correlation, not cause and effect. I think it isn't unreasonable to think that there are plenty of people who are fat *because* they are stupid.

I disagree. Most of the wealthiest and successful men are big and heavy. They have higher IQ's, not lower.

Most people (excluding very very poor) can afford to buy enough food to make them fat. You do know that fast-food and snacks are very cheap to buy?
