I'm trying to envision the kinds and amounts of mind altering substances I would have to be on to come up with that name for a dog.

Hopefully Bosco and Moose don't chomp the new pup like a peyote button hors'dourves. :D

Drugs, sure... or being a teen girl. Same thing? The 15 year old picked the name.

Donny 11-08-2013 10:03 AM

I have to make an admission, though. I named Moose. His full name is:

Senator Charles "Moose" Bosworth

His friends just call him Moose.

Donny 11-08-2013 10:04 AM

Senator Bosworth was very opposed to Obamacare, for the record.

_Richard_ 11-08-2013 10:15 AM

congrats on the new addition!

Ca-razy. Now I'm trying to envision how a 15 yr old knows anything about such things as (Bob) "Marley", or the uber-weird-in-a-good-way 70's prog rock band "Hawkwind"

"Valhalla" is anybody's guess. But Marley and Hawkwind are really throwing me.

I honestly did not know there were any young people left who listen to or care to even know about the classics.

She's homeschooled. :)

She loves Three Little Birds.

Donny 11-08-2013 10:41 AM

She also saved her own money to buy this dog. $1500.

You don't see the difference between voluntary and forced charity? One is noble. The other is not. Did you know the Catholic Church is the largest charity in the world? That charity originates with parishioners. Voluntarily.

you're not religious, you have nothing to do with god. you use it to feed yourself and your family.

and God is my witness, by his very own script.

I don't know what's dulling your senses. This isn't hard to comprehend. Forced charity is not what God advocates. He looks at the heart.

Catholic charities give more than any other group in the world. Voluntarily. Hungry people are clothed, fed, given medical aid, etc. Through voluntary donations and work. That is the way it is supposed to be. Not forced.

_Richard_ 11-08-2013 11:00 AM

indeed he does, Donny, indeed he does.

CourtneyR 11-08-2013 11:01 AM

awwwwwwwwwww I just wanna squeeze the pup! and avoid the slobber of the full grown guys.

Donny 11-08-2013 11:04 AM

On the other hand, forced Obamacare is costing jobs and resulting in good medical benefits being lost. Do you think that is something God would advocate? I'm pretty sure that's not what he had in mind.

oh you're right, absolutely right

he wants everyone to go back to the system where one can work 20 years, have a blip in the economy cause some fat cat rolled the dice wrong, and then suddenly lose all medical coverage with the job

he REALLY enjoyed the part, where entire families can be bankrupt from medical costs.. read (child loses childhood home to pay doctor mark up prices on simple procedures)

i have now seen the light.

Donny 11-08-2013 11:11 AM

Sounds more like you've been drinking the koolaid.

Why would I call you that? Go search my blog. You'll find several posts supportive of Obama. But that doesn't mean I swallow everything he says. He screwed up on this.

Obamacare. There's a difference. He put together a crappy program. I have a personal interest in healthcare. I've not been to a doctor in ten years. I'd love decent healthcare at a good price. This program doesn't offer that.

yuu.design 11-08-2013 11:45 AM

i find it sad that you are blinded by the light so much, you fail to see why that would be

Vendzilla 11-08-2013 11:52 AM

My family has some Mastiff's and are living up in your area. It's becoming a popular breed there. My mother has a French Mastiff female that only weighs in at 105lbs

No where near as sad as you choosing this as a valid battle to get in to for the day...

Nice dogs Donny, feeding 400lbs of dogs can not be an easy task, I have three 80 pounders and even that can be a handful!

thank you for your opinion

about this oil thing

amacontent 11-08-2013 12:35 PM

Give me a break with all the GOD bullshit. People turn and preach about GOD to deflect bad stuff away from themselves. GOD is the biggest scam around and all the churches just rob people of their hard earned money saying DONATE AND YOU WILL BE SAVED.

whOaKemosabe 11-08-2013 12:36 PM

Nice looking kids man

Manfap 11-08-2013 12:48 PM

Nice, I've got a Spanish Mastiff. She's a rescue dog, either loves you or wants to kill you, no inbetween. Good with cats but will happily try and takedown a horse.

You've been gone a while; _Dickhead_ is certifiable. You are wasting your time discussing anything with him. Play with Princess instead.

How strong is this sort of dog in terms of pulling while on a lead walking? I've never had anything that big and I know someone who wants a French Mastiff but she's tiny and the dog will probably weigh more than her once fully grown and I can't see it being properly under control.

She needs to take the dog to obedience classes and then pulling won't be an issue. Bosco, above, wasn't taken to obedience classes so he pulls like crazy. I'm 270lbs and have a hard time walking him. Moose is far easier, even though he is bigger than Bosco. The difference is that I started training him from an early age.

My moms french Mastiff is a sweet heart, doesn't want to chase anything. She weighs 105 last I checked and is full grown.
My brother had a male bull that was well over 200 lbs, I had a hard time walking him.
