Walmart money card is crazy at times
 

So I log in to check everything and, yay, I'm stuck $309
I didn't even think this card was overdraw capable
Well
And last time this happened, it turned out to be a mistake.. I always keep a ledger, and I've checked it twice now... Last time though it was only the text reminder and text bounce that was wrong.

Now the site is wrong, too.

Grrrr

I don't know if they're trying to give me a coronary for christmas or what :1orglaugh

Maybe call customer support. I am pretty sure prepaid cards can not get overdrawn

In certain instances, because of the way transactions are processed, your transaction could have gone through even though you did not have enough money on your card. As a result, your balance would be negative. Your next reload will be first used to cover the negative balance, and any remaining funds will be available for use. Yeah I sure as hell didn't think so.. I'll give them a call. For sure. I wanted the card so I could stop keeping a paper ledger and just keep track of my spending on the website.. and so I could not fool around and overdraw myself to hell. When you're running as thin as I am- that can happen fairly easily- even with a strict ledger!

It is something about how they settle transactions, I believe.

so you are still in minus? is there an online statement what they charged you for?
