Hehe, you will never learn out!

And I am 43 years old and never realized this either. :)

Foil trays with a cardboard lid here.
They don't all do it by the way. It depends on the make.

I have never seen anyone do that before. But practically speaking, how exactly does it work? When I get Chinese, I might get a container of white rice, sweet and sour chicken, Oriental beef and split with another person or two. Sounds like a mess.
lol....also me 1st time saw it...
And I do not believe that is the point of it being folded that way since no one would ever eat an entire container of steamed rice. I heard it was to prevent leakage, which make more sense.
I will need more than a Facebook graphic to be convinced. |

I... would not do that. You may if you wish. :drinkup |
that's silly, it's not better at all. worse really. i've never had a prob eating out of the container or scooping out of it, whichever. + fast food chinese comes in styrofoam around here. i'm thinking some beef fried rice from across the street for later.
That's going to come in handy on a hungover Sunday afternoon. Cheers!

We don't really get these much here anyway. Depending on where we go we get either, clear plastic, tin foil or styrofoam.

This must be one of those ancient Chinese secrets I've been hearing about.
The last one was in that Calgon commecial from the 70's. FYI the fold-out box thing is mainly for people who just moved in and haven't unpacked their plates yet. :D |
I shall try this next time
I can't wait to impress the living shit out of the next people I eat Chinese food with.
OMG how cool is that

has anybody tried re-assembling that origami nightmare while it still has some leftovers in it?
My eyes deceive me
Who the hell wants to eat off of the greasy box like that? By the way, the phrase is "supposed to", not "suppose to".
:) an interesting fact.
i should use my toilet paper for my junk food now and do this also, a nice plate for me!
Ah thanks for the info!
