Massive Storm Headed To The UK - Hearing Rumors..
I know you shouldn't believe everything you hear on the net, but people are starting to talk about it being worse than 1987...
It is coming that is for sure - We will see how bad it is Monday morning..... |
I remember the 87 storm, milk bottles flying past my head at about 4 in the morning when I stumbled home stoned. Thought fuck its a bit windy. Walked past Chalkwell Park and the trees started coming down.

I went to Thorpe Bay High - Left in '86..... I worked at The Ship and The Foresters on the front for a while - Scary pubs but fun to work in when you are in your 15/16 years old - lol... |

The pubs on the front were pure hell. Most of the time I`d go to the Pink Toothbrush in Railegh or Reggae night at the blueboar. Funk nights at High Society would see me down the front on a Saturday night, trying to avoid the TOTS wankers in their chinos. |

I was more into the Top Alex - I used to go to High Society on gay nights..... Oh the memories - Most of them bad - lol... |

Ashtrays fixed to the tables and tables fixed to the floor for the same reason - Fun times..... We had bodyguards for staff when we went home - No kidding... |
Only time shall tell haha

no dresscode either which for Southend made a change. Used to put on great concerts. I saw alot of the 80's hiphop acts there, and the bad manners boxing day concerts were legendary. Relaxed drug policy aswell. Quote:
