need help installing a script

ok..its not my first time installing a script...I have installed various forums, news scripts, stats scripts etc....the problem with this script is that when I run the install.php file I have to enter the database details (username, passwrod, localhost)...I enter them correctly but I get a stupid message asking me if I am sure that the database exists....it exists because it is on the same host that all the other scripts I have...

Is the name (not the host) of the DB the same?

MAKE sure that you gave the username associated with the database permission to use the database

thanks for the quick response...I just found out that the script needs a version of MySQL that is not installed on my server :BangBang:
